Our heavy-duty rivet nut hand installation lever tool is a versatile solution that is designed for low-to-medium production work, field service repair and prototyping. Many hand tools do not have the mechanical advantages or strength needed to install larger sized rivet nuts, but this 140-2000 lever tool can! One of the few manual tools that can truly install almost any size rivet nut.
The 140-2000 tool offers a sturdy double lever mechanism for enhanced leverage, making
it easy to use and reducing operator fatigue. Simply use two hands to operate the levers, which create enough force for a perfect installation on the nutsert.
This tool can be used with a variety of swap-in / swap-out (interchangeable) headsets for different sized threads. If a change is needed between thread sizes, it is an easy process to switch out the mandrel and anvil because of the “interchangeable headset” options. Just swap headsets and in a few minutes, you can switch from installing a tiny 6-32 threaded rivet nut up to a big 1/2-13 threaded rivet nut!

Each option includes the 140-2000 double lever tool (black color) and the headset (silver color) for the thread sizes listed. Headsets include 1 mandrel and 1 anvil per thread size. Additional headsets can be purchased separately!

- 1/4-20, 5/16-18, 3/8-16 (PLUSNUT® Mandrels only, they are longer in length than rivet nut mandrels but use the same anvils that come with the Rivet Nut Headsets)
- NOTE FOR PLUSNUTS® ALL MATERIALS: These may require the purchase of special non-stock mandrels for your nutserts. Thin gauge material may require the user to double stroke the tool. Our experts are here to help, just ask!

Additional Information
- A mandrel and anvil are required for each thread size. These are considered consumables of the tool and may need to be replaced over time, please keep backups on hand!
- The 140-2000 is a reliable, durable tool that will last a long time, but if you should need an additional universal headset collet/nosepiece, they are available for purchase separately.

- NOTE: Fastener material type is critical! Consult us before buying!
- Example: Install tool may be set up for a 1/2-13 rivet nut, but the tool is only capable of installing a soft aluminum 1/2-13 rivet nut and cannot install a harder material like, steel or stainless steel. A heavier duty tool would be required to install the harder material steel or stainless steel 1/2-13 rivet nut.
