Why Use Blind Rivets?
Rivet Nut USA™, a division of Cardinal Components, Inc., is America’s premier distributor of Blind Rivets nationwide! Rivets are a lightweight, strong, and permanently installed fastener that can work well for both light- and heavy-duty projects. Modern blind rivets have been used for over 100 years in applications like submarines, airplanes, and in thin or delicate sheet metal projects. Blind Rivets are great at holding and securing parts together even when the environment presents vibrations, and they’re also a good choice when you need a watertight seal (see our closed-end / sealed rivets).

A Rivet is a fastener with a mandrel, head, and tubular body. During installation, the tool “grabs” the mandrel to pull/compress the rivet body towards the rivet head. The installation process happens in merely seconds from just one side of your application, which is why it is sometimes called a Blind Rivet. After installation your application now has two materials that are permanently joined together, squeezed between the installed rivet. No finishing work is required on the rivet. It provides mechanically engineered performance advantages for your application. We have stock supplies of what you need ready to ship when you need them. Some rivet manufacturers we proudly represent are RivetKing® and Goebel®, we also can access product from Pop®, Stanley®, and Huck®.
