- Open and Closed End options for bottom of rivet nut:
- Open End bottom: No waterproofing qualities, but the male bolt length can be short or long.
- Closed End bottom: Waterproofing qualities. As a special order, a rubber ring can be added under the head for superior waterproofing. A male bolt length needs to be exacting to assure all threads are engaged while not being too long that the bolt sits proud to the application.
