The C1000 wrench type tool is designed to install both rivet nuts and plus body rivet nuts, including Böllhoff RIVNUT® and PLUSNUT® fasteners. This is achieved by using two simple wrenches (wrenches not included). As the nut on the top of the tool is turned, the shaft of the tool exerts a linear pull stroke on the fastener. (For novice users, we generally recommend to look at the C7000 tool or 140-2000 tool. For experienced users, this tool works phenomenally!)
Originally developed by BF Goodrich/Böllhoff as the C1000, this tool is now manufactured by LEM/OGS under the model number L1000 after acquiring the rights to the original designs.
