This vertical kit for rivet nut installation tooling allows you to give your trigger finger a break and boost installation efficiency. Designed for high‑volume production environments, you can activate the tool using your entire hand, which reduces fatigue and helps improve control. When paired with our Tool Balancer, the Vertical Kit provides a perfectly weighted, vertical, hands‑free setup ideal for repetitive fastening tasks.
Main Features of the Rivet Nut Tool Vertical Kit
Extended Nose Piece: Allows installers to engage the trigger using the full palm rather than a single finger, delivering a more ergonomic and comfortable operation during long shifts.
Vertical Handle with Mounting Holes: Enables the tool to hang vertically from an overhead Tool Balancer (P/N 4000‑4076‑5320), keeping it positioned downward toward the application for faster, more consistent installations.

When paired with the Vertical Kit, a Tool Balancer supports the weight of the installation tool and suspends it above the work area for improved operator comfort. The balancer reel allows the tool to hang at “zero gravity,” minimizing the effort required to lift and position the tool. This can reduce operator fatigue while keeping the tool readily accessible. After each installation, the tool automatically returns to position, helping improve productivity, maintain an organized workstation, and helps to reduce the risk of tool damage caused by accidental drops or improper storage.
