The Series 50 Press-In Insert is a symmetrical insert with a generous hole size on each end, which allows an easier and quicker installation into the hole. Because of its balanced design, orientation of the insert prior to the install is not required. Series 50 Press-In Inserts are available in both metric and inch thread sizes ranging from M2 (2-56) up to M8 (5/16-18).
The Spirol® Series 51 Headed Press-In Threaded Nut Insert is similar to the 50 Press-In insert, but includes a flat head on one end. The Series 51 Press-In insert contains a large opening on the opposite end of the headed opening to lead installation into the hole. By including the head to the opening, this provides more contact area, and also makes it suitable for pull-through applications where high pull-out force is required. The Spirol® Series 51 Headed Press-In Threaded Nut Inserts are available in metric thread sizes ranging from M2 to M8 and unified thread sizes ranging from 2-56 to 5/16-18.
