Threaded nut inserts that can be used for self-tapping insertion and are available with and without a head!
AMTEC® stands for – After Molding TECHnology – and refers to the installation of threaded nut inserts into plastic components after-molding. The AMTEC QUICKSERT® consists of a cylindrical body with an internal thread and a special external thread. The outer thread profile has an extremely small flank angle and enlarges asymmetrically to the base of the thread. This optimizes installation with low screw-in torques. The threaded bush is screwed in with a rotating spindle.
