Bollhoff AMTEC HITSERT® SCREWLOCK Threaded Nut Inserts

AMTEC® stands for – After Molding TECHnology – and refers to the installation of threaded nut inserts into plastic components after-molding. The Böllhoff AMTEC HITSERT® SCREWLOCK threaded nut insert is heated to the melting temperature of the plastic. As a result of the heat transfer upon insertion, the plastic is plasticized for a short time and flows into the undercut of the threaded insert. As the plastic cools, it creates a tight fit with low stress.
