Bollhoff IMTEC® threaded nut inserts are exceptional in providing an in-molded installation. This means the insert is set before the plastic is poured and the insert is installed. The Bollhoff IMTEC® CF is a thread insert which consists of a double projecting flat head, or flange, extension and is produced from steel by cold forming. This threaded nut insert allows precise adjustment of the length of the thread insert according to the mold size. Upon closing, the parts of the mold compress and adjust the length of the component exactly. This component is used primarily to generate through-hole threads.
